AGM - Ideas for new Camera Club Topics

At the AGM, we will kick around everyone's ideas about what subjects to settle upon for the forthcoming year.

There will be the usual local, natural history, monochrome ideas, of course, but after the success of the wide breadth of subjects presented at the "Negative Space" competition, where every member seemed to embrace the topic, I thought that club members could take a look at the following link for some more subjects that are a little out of the box.

The website is TED.com and I came across it while delving through NZ's PSNZ site. From their website:

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.

They have a section devoted to photography; so have a look and see if there is some topic that interests you and maybe bring it up at the AGM
